FAQs

HAVE A QUESTION?

We love hearing from people who want to learn more about ADRA, our work, and so much more. Below are answers to many of the questions we receive regularly.
If your question isn’t covered here, send us an email at info@adraeswatini.org  or at  dir@adraeswatini.org  and we’ll respond as soon as possible.

Can I volunteer with ADRA?

Yes – thousands of people support our work in their local communities every year by volunteering with ADRA. Without their support, ADRA would not be able to reach or impact even a fraction of the people we currently support – and we’re always looking for more! Volunteers serve in a wide variety of roles including collecting funds for the annual ADRA Appeal, , distributing emergency relief food parcels, advocating for social change, providing administrative support, and specialist project implementation support

Who is ADRA Eswatini?

The Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) is the only official humanitarian agency of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. ADRA Eswatini works as part of the global ADRA network. Through this network, our reach extends into more than 140 countries.

What does ADRA do?

We seek to address not only the symptoms of poverty, but the systems and structures that cause it. We do this by working with people in poverty and distress so that everyone may experience the quality of life that God intended for us. Our work is focused into four key areas: Improving health; creating access to education; increasing livelihoods; and responding to disasters.
